The only difference between the two Unicums is that Plum is the first herb liqueur in the world to be also aged on dried plums which gives this new Zwack liqueur a distinctive harmony and a rounded, velvety and fruity taste.The secret family recipe has remained the same, just like the method of aging the liqueur in oak casks, so Unicum Plum preserved its traditional qualities.
Kékfrankos, pinot noir Blended wine starts with a vigorous deep pink hue. In its nose ripe fruits appear: mainly plum, sour cherry, strawberry. Shows nice balance when tasting. Beside of its fine acids we experience rich fruitiness. The taste is dominated by red berries supplemented by fine marshmallow marks. It ends with a rich aftertaste
The scent evolves nicely with fresh apricot fruit
and apricot jam notes with a tiny breath of citrus.
The taste is like freshly cooked jam with slight
seed aroma in the background.
The aroma develops nicely from the fresh but
intense apricot jam-like flavor to a trace of citrus,
lemon and grapefruit zest in the background.
Its color is deep dark ruby with purple reflexes. The aromas are wild berries, strawberries, pepper, barrel spices, tasted more like black fruits than black currants and black cherries, gently accompanied by black pepper. Soft tannins and fine acids complement the fruit, giving us a more vibrant, kinder wine compared to previous vintages.
A pleasant though moderately intense flower scent blends with the smell of the fresh fruit. Tastes like bon-bon with a little jam and elegant sour cherry character.
A mélange of intensity, the cherry flower scent of fresh fruit is the trademark of this palinka. The delicious sour cherry flavor ensconced with sweetness, suggests the taste of marzipan.

Strong perfume scent with the clove and citrus smells are circulating. This palinka feels like spicy muscatel and the perfume of stewed quinces. Especially full and sour in the mouth, this is characteristic to this fruit. Sharp, lively and juvenile spirit.
