Cheese roll

Ingredients (for approx. 30 slices):

8 triangular shaped, processed cheese with sausage flavour
50 g butter
1/2 tsp Univer spicy Red Gold
1 tsp Univer Garlic Paste
200g bryndza
1 tbsp sour cream
1 bunch of chives
50 g gyulai sausage or ham
8 large, thin slices of Trappist cheese (appr. 200 g)
8 slices of ham (appr. 160 g)


Thoroughly mix the sausage flavoured cheese with the butter, Red Gold and Garlic Paste. Mash the bryndza and add the sour cream, the finely chopped chives and the gyulai sausage cut in small pieces.

Set a large sheet of foil on the kitchen counter and place an identical size cling film on it. Set the ham slices on the end towards you, and place the cheese slices in the same width behind the ham slices.

Spread the sausage flavoured processed cheese on the hams and the bryndza mix on the cheese slices.
Tightly roll them so that the ham parts would be in the middle of the roll. Cool the carefully wrapped cheese roll in the refrigerator and cut it with a knife dipped in hot water.

Preparation time: 30 minutes + congeal
